ATLANTA (September 25, 2006) — Atlantans were quick to embrace the modern features and dramatic architecture of The Stacks at Fulton Cotton Mill Lofts, as the conversion has surpassed the 50 percent sales mark. Originally one of Atlanta’s earliest industrial developments - built between 1895 and 1922 in the neo-Romanesque style - The Stacks at Fulton Cotton Mill Lofts continues to be a significant part of Atlanta’s history, evolving from a cotton mill to a rental community to one-of-a-kind lofts.

The Stacks at Fulton Cotton Mill Lofts

The Stacks at Fulton Cotton Mill Lofts is a joint venture between Atlanta-based Aderhold Properties, Inc. and Jennings Partners, Inc. to reinvent part of the Fulton Cotton Mill Lofts. Located in Cabbagetown near downtown Atlanta, two of the property’s eight buildings have been converted into New York-style lofts, creating a total of 165 units available for sale.

“We are pleased that buyers have been so receptive to our vision of this historic property,? said Tom Aderhold, president of Aderhold Properties, Inc. “This marks the first time that residents can literally own a piece of this history. Many of the community’s current renters were among the first to purchase at The Stacks, which is a testament to the quality and unparalleled design of the community?

“I rented my one-bedroom loft at the Mill for over five years waiting and hoping the day would come that I could purchase it. As soon as the developers announced the conversion, I was one of the first in line to sign a contract,? resident Brandon Sutton said of his 1,400-plus-square-foot loft. “My living room has the original 65-foot water tower in it that now has windows on all four sides. That’s what originally attracted me to the community – every one of the lofts is different and they all have their own individual charm.?

The lofts, which range from 655 to 1700 square feet, include amenities that sustain the original character such as exposed brickwork and timber, sealed concrete floors, oversized windows and skyline views, as well as amenities that offer today’s conveniences such as Wi-Fi hotspots, a fitness center, controlled-access entry, gated parking and a swimming pool with an expansive sundeck. The one- and two-bedroom lofts start in the mid $100s.

Sales and marketing for The Stacks at Fulton Cotton Mill Lofts is handled by Coldwell Banker The Condo Store, one of the market leaders in the sales and marketing of condominiums, lofts, luxury high-rises, cluster and town homes.

Prospective buyers can visit The Stacks sales center located at 170 Boulevard SE, #H102, to view models and obtain additional information. To learn more about this one-of-a-kind community, call (404) 588-2728 or visit www.stackslofts.com.
