Restaurants and Spa Latest Tenants for The Plaza Midtown

Plaza Midtown ATLANTA (May 1, 2006) - The Plaza Midtown’s residents and their Midtown neighbors will soon have a greater selection of restaurants to choose from, as well as a luxurious day spa. Selig Enterprises, Inc. announced today that the company has signed leases with three restaurants and one day spa - J. Christopher’s, Steel, DRESSED and Signature Day Spa - adding to the growing list of restaurants, shops and boutiques at the 550,000-square-foot mixed-use development.

J. Christopher’s: Consistently voted one of the best places in Atlanta for brunch, J. Christopher’s serves breakfast, brunch and lunch. With almost a dozen Atlanta locations (primarily in the northern suburbs), J. Christopher’s is set to open at The Plaza Midtown this fall.

Steel: Slated to open in first quarter 2007, Steel will make its first foray outside of Dallas with this Midtown location. Offering Japanese and Indo-chine cuisine, the cosmopolitan restaurant has received national accolades from Esquire and Wine Spectator magazines - living up to its motto: "never settle."

DRESSED, Salads With Style: Scheduled to open late summer / early fall 2006, DRESSED is a sophisticated yet casual restaurant. DRESSED’s Owner Justin Smolev is creating a fast and casual dining concept that offers savvy, fresh ingredients for the salad lover looking for an inspiring and satisfying meal in a sophisticated, fun and comfortable environment.

Signature Day Spa: This day spa will offer massage, skin care, tanning and nail care services with on-site amenities including sauna and steam. Signature Spa which is scheduled to open early Fall 2006, will provide The Plaza Midtown residents and the Midtown business community easy access to much-needed R&R.

J. Christopher’s, Steel, DRESSED and Signature Day Spa join Washington Mutual and Publix Super Markets, which is scheduled to open its 33,000-square-foot Plaza Midtown store May 11. About the Plaza Midtown

The Plaza Midtown’s 550,000 square feet encompasses an entire city block between West Peachtree and Spring streets at 8th Street. The project, which boasts 70,000 square feet of retail space, is being developed by Daniel Corporation and Selig Enterprises with Daniel Corporation developing the residential component. Selig Enterprises owns, leases and manages the retail component.

The Plaza Midtown is strategically located between the Midtown MARTA station and Georgia Tech’s much-heralded Technology Square. The first residents began moving in earlier this year.

Complementing and enhancing the Midtown skyline, The Plaza Midtown’s reflective glass construction has the urban audience in mind while capitalizing on the pristine views of Midtown, Downtown, Buckhead, Stone Mountain and Greater Atlanta.
