Aquarius Tower to Bring High-Tech, Eco-Friendly Living to Downtown Atlanta

Aquarius From ParkATLANTA – Lily Development, LLC has announced development plans for Aquarius Tower, a 38-story, 240,000-square-foot development that will redefine Atlanta’s downtown skyline and incorporate advanced technological and sustainable features that are rarely seen in the United States. The site is located at the corner of Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard and Luckie Street. Construction is slated to begin in summer 2007 and to be complete by fall 2009.

Designed by PFVS Architects, Inc., Aquarius Tower is the first condominium in Georgia to incorporate solar and wind energy into its design. The roof-top solar panels will harness the power of the sun and the state-of-the-art wind turbines will channel high winds into usable energy. Aquarius Tower will include various sustainable features throughout the project and will utilize recycled building materials and thermally-efficient products.
