Construction has begun on the Target store in Atlantic Station announced back in October 2005. The 150,000 square-foot store is scheduled to open in March 2007, and will feature a ground-floor parking lot, escalator and cart escalator - feature already seen in the Buckhead Target (across from Phipps Mall). The "contemporary" and "trend-setting" Target will boast a unique and modern architectural design. The Target at Atlantic Station will also incorporate a Starbucks coffee shop - feature that it is not big news by now; other recently built Target stores already have a Starbucks coffee shop inside.

My Urban City is mapping the new condo development around Atlanta and it’s vicinity using the Google Maps technology. We’ve updated My Urban City’s gMaps to version 2 of Google Maps that was released on April 3, 2006.
The changes will not be easily noticeable, however Version 2 contains many important enhancements to fundamental parts of the Google Maps, and it will allow us to take advantage of these enhancements in the future and offer you, the user, the best experience here on My Urban City.

Buckhead Hilton is the newly proposed 48-story hotel/condo near Buckhead MARTA Station, and next to Maggiano’s Little Italy in Buckhead. The project is expected to break ground next fall and the grand opening was set for 2009.
The Buckhead Hilton tower will have 300 hotel rooms and 192 condominium residences atop the hotel. The proposed development will be built on the corner of Peachtree and Stratford Roads.

Tribute Lofts (one of MyUrbanCity.com’s Top 5 Coveted Projects!) is finally open for sales, furthering the revitalization of Atlanta’s historic Old Fourth Ward! They have over 700 people on the wait list for the 147 lofts; there is obviously a lot of excitement for the community.
Tribute Lofts, a new, mixed-use community planned near the junction of Freedom Parkway and Boulevard, will soon offer residents true loft living in the heart of the city’s historic Old Fourth Ward.
